Vintage IANTHE England Silver-Plated 3-Arm Candelabra Candlesticks – Pair – c.1950s

Elegant matching pair of vintage IANTHE of England silver-plated three-light candelabra, dating approximately to the mid-20th century.

Each candelabrum features a substantial circular pedestal base decorated with a raised floral border, a tall fluted central column and beautifully sweeping tubular arms forming an intertwined loop design. Three flared candle cups complete each piece.

IANTHE was an English manufacturer known for decorative silver-plated tableware and candleholders. Comparable Ianthe candelabra are attributed to the mid-century period, including examples dated approximately from the 1950s through the 1970s.

The pair has particularly attractive proportions and an elegant sculptural quality. Displayed together on a dining table, sideboard or mantelpiece, the intertwined arms create a considerably richer effect than a conventional straight-arm candelabrum.
